No, the light could still be above the mattress on the ceiling at the bottom of the stairwell. This proves nothing.

But, the wear on the carpet indicates to me that those are the treads, so this is taken from the top of the stairs looking down. Also, not mentioned elsewhere, there is usually a nose on the treads and the carpet would follow the nose, which can't be seen from above.

Yes, because of the stupid turntable. 1:30, the water isn't hot enough. 2:00, the water is too hot and cup is at the back of the oven. The right amount of time, for tap water, in the summer, is 1:47, that puts the water at the front of the oven at the right temp, but I don't want to punch in 1:47, so I just hit the 2 to start and run the oven for 2 minutes, and then pull the door open at 1:47. Also, no beep that way.

Commercial microwaves, like in a restaurant, have a row of numbered buttons that can be programmed for time and power setting. That's the best way to control a microwave.

It doesn't take research to convince me that processed foods, especially industrial, large scale, profit-above-all-else, processed food is bad for me.

These results shouldn't surprise anyone, and I don't think they do. But, people will find excuses to keep doing unhealthy things they enjoy, and that is their prerogative.

For me, it's about the quality of life before I die, not which shitty thing I'm willingly doing to my body that ends up "winning".

All food packaging could be glass, paper, metal and cloth. It was just that until plastic was invented. We could go back to that and the world and people would be a bit healthier for it. We won't, though, not until we're forced to by something catastrophic.

Seems like a major selling point for theaters could be that they DON'T show ads, and that would be a draw.

They're competing with my big TV at home, my comfortable couch, surround sound, private bathroom, control over the volume, ability to pause, great snacks, and no annoying people. The only thing they have is first access, and I'm more than willing to wait to get all the benefits of watching at home.

I haven't been in a theater since the first Deadpool. I doubt I'll ever see a movie in a theater again.
