The worst case scenario would have been an early election before the one in the US and be stuck right now with both Trump down south and PP here.

That, or direct negotiations to the state level to remove tariffs between states and just circumvent the American federal level. I’d rather have them Balkanized at this point.
For me it’s Al Gore losing that was definitely a start of some kind of fall. I know people point to Reagan often, but for me it’s Bush winning and starting all those wars.
I mean at the end of the day, if you washed yourself well, you don’t need to worry about anything. It’s should be clean. ^^

I thought the same!! I’m in environmental public health and seeing stats like this makes me pissed. How much progress we are losing to false information, lies and propaganda is absurd. I get that with a cost of living crisis it’s harder for some people to care when they can’t eat or pay their rent, but urgh
That could be what comes out of it, but I just fear that they sign the papers, companies buy up the land to have rights to mine those minerals and then they wait until Russia wins. Cause if Trump and Putin are buddies, then they could still have those mineral rights after the war in the worst case scenario.

In theory that’s not too far fetched. But they are already American companies operating in Ukraine and that has never stopped Russia from bombing Ukraine. I doubt it works as a deterrent.
