  • gah... its so hot and there's so much to do and I'm naturally a lazy person...

There's tons of black berries to be picked and the while cherries need to get in the freezer before the July heat/lack of rain makes them unusable.

Pear trees are loaded as fuck. If the crows aren't too greedy we're gonna be hard pressed to find freezer space for storage. I worry that the ancient dehydrator will give out, the fan motor makes some pretty angry noises these days.

  • If you've got a body shop in mind, they should be able to give you an itemized quote.

Paint Match $$$ This Part $$$ That Part $$$ Some other Parts $$$

You can either take that quote to other shops and see what they say or do some general googl'in to see what the parts cost on the internet to get an okay ballpark range of acceptible prices.

  • There's a thing that I've come to realize as I've gotten older and older.

More often than not, we never learn the actual deffinition of words or phrases or ideas. We'll hear something in context and understand enough to get through the moment without being confused. But we don't learn enough from the context to know for sure what the thing is.

So we see people getting really hung up over words.

"Profit" is one of these words. It would not surprise me if most people interpret the word to mean nothing more than "making money", as in "revenue". Instead of the more accurate/useful "making more money than was spent in a particular time frame" or "money removed from the entity for non-business use".
