Likely to protect the cop/department too, since he shot at his own car that already had a disarmed, detained suspect inside. He very nearly killed someone that was already a non-threat. If the body cam footage got out it might make people think their cops are negligent or improperly trained! /ghasp

Ah makes sense, I never played the NG games, but when I would talk to my friend about the OG DMC games, he would tell me about NG, so I had assumed it was more like DMC (in the sense that getting hit twice wouldn't kill you unless it was a boss).

I'm not sure if it's the same issue, but I also have an AMD system and had issues for a while where my games would crash. I solved it by tweaking the GPU/CPU settings. For the GPU I opened Radeon and found a setting for the fans called 'zero RPM mode' that was enabled by default, so I turned it off in case it was a heat issue. After that, I ran the Ryzen CPU program and set it to 'gaming mode' every time I play games.

Between those two, I don't crash anymore unless I'm running modern games at max settings. I hope it helps in fixing your issues, and good luck!

No, although it looks like the combat is inspired by soulslike games. It's made by the team that made the Devil May Cry reboot, which had pretty fun gameplay despite Capcom demanding that the story be an edge lord's wet dream.
