I agree with you on all points, and the episode in question is a pop culture reference ridden pile of garbage, but the shut up and take my money meme does actually come from that episode. It's not a reenactment

I use davinci for editing and find it far more enjoyable than premiere. If davinci's vfx tab was more powerful, then I wouldn't leave the program at all

It becomes a whole other can of worms when you start taking film photography. I just spent $1000 on a new medium format camera lol
