It probably helps that a lot of very smart people, that usually would not work on these kinds of projects due to moral objections, now don't have these moral objections and help push the envelope.
Also the smaller towns have a lot to do, it will be less but flea markets and outdoor terrasses. Parking and access wil be easier.. but yes, the most of the country is in party mode
I had to turn it off.. especially the sales guy with AI... The amount of buzzwords he kept repeating made it just unwatchable.. and once they trotted out the business partners I had to just turn it off.
And then there are political incumbents wondering why they are so unpopular.... You need to be the counterweight to these assholes, not do their bidding.

I think the fact they boost for other customers is the thing.. but Ukraine needs money as well so they need to sell the stuff. I'd like to see EU countries also buying some stuff like bodana.. make a deal we buy 2 get 1 for ourselves and one for you. Manufacture them in Poland and employ Ukrainian refugees so they also get to contribute to the war effort.
Part of the last aid package of the US included commercial satellite images. Probably a subscription or something similar.. just in case DOD no longer is allowed to provide. Also that resulution is probably enough for most things, while targeting specifics can be pictures more adhoc or surveiled with a drone.
Jeez, 800k long before moskovia rolls up on the next anniversary of their SMO. Let's hope Putin cannot accept peace on Trumps terms and in turn Trump takes the leash off and dumps more arms into Ukraine so they can break moskovias back. That way china has one less "no limit" partner to rely on when the next conflict in the Pacific kicks off.
