Roaming gunships are so much harder than roaming Shriekers haha.

I like the idea of these patrols, but gunship patrols should be a bit smaller, we were getting overwhelmed on diff 8 with patrols of 4-6 that would overlap. I guess that’s also a sign we need to adjust our loadouts more than anything, but I hope it points towards better AA stratagems in the future.
- I got attacked by a roaming squad of gunships and I was like "PROTECT ME MY CHILDREN" and threw down two sentries while hiding behind a rock.
- The gunships are tough because even one patrol requires 3 Anti-Tank shots to wipe them out. You can also use the Scorcher, but it's like a full mag per ship.

  Two well placed Autocannon shots or several more poorly placed ones can do it.
  
  used a buddy's purifier last night and it took ~4-5 shots i think to bring one down. not sure it has many other redeeming qualities yet. I'll have to unlock mine and play it more.

They only spawn as an operation modifier. The operation modifier to look for is the one that is cut off. You can only see the top half of the icon, and no text.
Oh no, does this mean they don't need to spawn from their respective towers anymore?
- Yep, I’ve had gunship patrols spawn on missions with no towers on difficulty 8 fwiw
