Somerville To Start Charging Fees At Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Somerville officials say starting Monday, July 1, a fee of $0.25 per kilowatt-hour will be implemented at all City-owned electric vehicle charging stations.
As an EV driver, I'm fine with this -- the fee is cheap, and I value public charging for the convenience much more than for the cost avoidance.
Yeah, I don't know why anyone would think this would be free forever. The idea is to encourage adoption.
