The attorney representing a teenager who was allegedly assaulted in the Elsmere area Monday wants state police to take responsibility.
“And despite there being video evidence, bystanders watching, and the officer admitting he did commit the assault , we’ve investigated ourselves and found that we did nothing wrong in the situation. No further comment thank you”
I can see the headline in a few weeks already.
Wishful thinking that they’d make any announcement at all as opposed to just saying “the investigation is ongoing” until people lose interest. It’s only the ones with the most sustained public pressure that have responses like that.
