This follows an upset in the Helldivers 2 community last week after PlayStation revealed (and then walked back) required PSN linking.
Is this going to get brigaded like Helldivers?
Since the game isn't out yet and it's being made clear beforehand I would say probably not.
The helldivers 2 outrage was because they never made any mention of it and then a few months after launch decided to implement it and block paying customers in 120 countries from playing the game they paid for.
It’s kind of a lame requirement anyway (it’s literally only for data collection) so now that we made a big deal once we should tell them to fuck off entirely with it
Support the platforms you are on, or settle for making less money.
While not ideal, I’d say this at least is slightly more reasonable.
