Ok, this week's development release is receiving a lot of feedback (a huge thank you to all contributors!) so I'm splitting its lifecycle in half. I've worked through most of the requests and reports yesterday and I'm releasing a new intermediate release today so that from here until Wednesday I have time to collect further feedback and make further fixes.

I hope I'll be able to release 1.10.0 soon in order to deliver all updates to users that stick with the stable version, so unless there are blocking bugs or serious things, the next release will be pushed to the stable channel.

Already seen a bug in the initial loading of the home screen, obviously after releasing the beta! 🙈️ Working on it...

I have noticed something in the last 2 releases that I think didn't happen in the previous releases.

When you tap back two times in the main screen, the app is supposed to exit. One tap prompts a message to press back again to exit, the second tap exits. The app does exit, but previously when launching the app again it started from the top of the feed, now it starts in the same spot where it was last time I exited it.

Is this the intended behavior, or is there some option I'm not seeing?

I installed this version but blank screen above keyboard and Gap in header still exist. I will open the issue again if I am able to reproduce it.
- Additional question: does the same happen in the "create comment" screen or is it just in the post creation screen?
  
  Same happen in create comment, create post and login screen. Except for search bar.
- We can reopen the same issue and leave it there, don't worry.
Attempting to use comment navigation (jumping to next top-level comment) now crashes the app after 2 or 3 clicks. I'm guessing it has something to do with what you said about jumping to a comment on the next "page" of comments.

Can you make the status bar transparent instead of translucent? I might switch from eternity to raccoon then :p
- I'm not sure I understand your question, do you mean that even if you enabled "Edge to edge display" with transparent bar you still see it?
- I finally understood what you meant, the bug was apparent only when using light theme. I have fixed it in the latest development build.
