Some Ukrainians living overseas, including in Australia, feel blindsided by their government's latest bid to bolster the country's military might.

No pity. If they don't go, that means some one else has to do it. It's the ultimate in selfishness.

This is not Viet Nam. They are being invaded. If they don't believe in their country they should give up their citizenship.
- You can't "give up on your citizenship". A country cannot take away someone's nationality if they'd be left with none. It's against international law.
