Ok, great! What are the consequences?
- Most likely $1,000 per violation, or $3,000. Seems like a cheap cost to slander and intimidate witnesses against you.
  
  Probably. That’s all the prosecution proposed, and Merchan would show bias if he raised the stakes. Merchan will likely propose a steeper fine for future violations.
  
  Jail up to 30 days per incident is possible, but realistically it needs to be gradually assessed after fines first

  Yeah, New York caps contempt charges at $1000 per violation, and/or up to 30 days in jail. And no judge wants to be the first one to throw him in jail for contempt. So he just keeps getting small fines which he is (at least on paper, but that’s what the entire trial is focused on) easily capable of paying.

  My point wasn't that it's weird for him to discuss anything, but that it's odd that anyone would want to listen to him, or take him seriously.
  
  There's plenty of other legal commentators who've made the same point, and they have the added benefit of not being bootlicking sex pests.

TL;DR

Toobin says the following is a violation:

Trump’s post, quoting a Fox News host, reads: “’They are catching undercover Liberal Activists lying to the Judge in order to get on the Trump Jury,’ Jesse Watters.”
....and still nothing happened.
Didnt the judge impose that less than 48 hours ago... Im not suprised, but that was quick.
I'm sure if they keep slapping his wrists enough he'll eventually start to get some wrist strain or possibly even some light bruising.
When are people going to realise that the accused individual believes that the rule of law does not apply to him?

If this was anyone else, they'd already be incarcerated and therein lies the problem. The accused is not being treated like everyone else, thus perpetuating their belief and the behaviour.
