This all sounds far too plausible.
- The least plausible part is the FTL travel. But I wouldn't put it past those imagineers.
Buying Apple in this decade or the next is out-and-out fantasy. They're currently worth US$3 trillion. Apple has more wealth than most countries. Disney is worth just over US$200 billion.
- Apple even considered buying Disney. There's a whole Wikipedia article about it, apparently. It kinda makes sense. Apple was owned by that Pixar guy, Steve something.
2062 - Disney acquires the BBC. Doctor Who is now a Disney princess
Huh.
- Definitely the most disturbing part. I could live with the rest of it.
  
  Hah. But I meant that this one has already happened. They didn’t buy the whole BBC, but they are funding the new Doctor Who and releasing it on Disney Plus.

Connect for lemmy needs to set a maximum picture display size for the news fees so I don't have to scroll past shit like this over and over.

Jerboa seriously needs to figure out how to handle images this big. It took me a full 3 seconds to scroll past this.
I know I'm not a programmer and I appreciate all the hard work put into Jerboa but an image size limit seems basic.
