EDPM vs Fibreglass for flat roofing.

Hi,

Any of you folks know about EDPM vs Fibreglass roofing.

I need to make a choice for a property extension in the UK. I expect rain, a few hot days, more rain, more rain, and some ice.

The roof won't be load bearing (people won't be walking on it).

Seems like every other website has differing opinions on what's best. I guess because everyone is selling something.

Any impartial opinions on what you'd use?

Fibreglass, lasts longer. Not an expert but that's what I went for. Just make sure you go with someone who has done it before.
I live in the US but I am not sure what you mean by Fiberglass. There are tradeoffs but EPDM lasts longer than TPO by a little bit, but the best is a kind called Dura last. TPO tends to be the cheapest.

If you are DIYing it then EPDM is the way to go because you dont need any special tools.
