The 4-day workweek could be here sooner than you think
The shorter workweek has gained rapid momentum in recent years, spurred on by a post-pandemic society grappling with its toxic relationship with work.
Years and years of productivity increases, and yet no change in the standard work schedule. The writing is on the wall.
That said, I don't believe I'll see a change in my lifetime. This article is pretty pie-in-the-sky.
Agreed.
They're still fighting tooth-and-nail to get people back in the office physically five days a week. It's unthinkable that we'll ever have a fundamental change to work hours.
Maybe within whatever bubble this article is aimed at, but I think it will be the vast minority who get that. But, we should push for it all around the world.
I doubt it.
