Bluesky started inside Twitter. Now, it’s competing with X, Mastodon, and Threads to push a decentralized vision for social networking.
The feature my company uses is the future of the field I work in. Not saying they are wrong, just that it's not really news that they have that opinion.

26 5 ReplyNot the person you replied to. But I think they meant that Bluesky is using a protocol that only the company uses.
Sure its a federated and decentralized protocol, I guess. But if they're the only platform using it, it's still rather centralized in that regard.

Just bluesky isnt the future of social media. We‘ll see if they ever get that.
