The billionaire class aren't "ghouls" leaching off society. They are leeches leaching off society. The term parasites will also suffice.
Also... the super-creep genre is shit.
Unlike billionaires, some parasites are beneficial to humanity (there's a species of wasp that lays its eggs in plant-destroying caterpillars, and leeches can be used as bait while fishing).
I'm okay with using billionaires for chum.
I guess they leech, rather than leach. Leech off, leach out. I think that's right.
