How many of you use Plan9 as your daily driver?
How many of you use Plan9 as your daily driver?
If someone here doesn't want to use GNU at all, Plan9 is probably the next best thing. Is there anyone here that actually uses it day to day?
I mean if I didn’t want to use GNU at all I would just run FreeBSD. Been a solid OS for me since the mid 2000’s.

True. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I'm assuming the BSDs don't use GNU's C compiler?

I'd love to read a blog of someone using it as their daily driver, I wonder how doable that is
10 0 ReplyI remember reading about Plan9 around 2000 or so. I thought it was pretty damn cool. I still do, I just can't imagine using it as their main.
