I think I'd heard of Americans providing Israel with targeting (certainly, alongside the UK in regards to Ukraine). But the explanation of the significance of Pine Gap and how Australian land is being used to target Palestinians is- depressing, not surprising as white supremacist settler-colonial countries tend to stick together, but depressing.
It really just hammers it in as always- there can be no peace, without decolonization. Maybe the USA can be reformed as a nation (certainly not the present state apparatus- it is rotten and inhumane to the core) but the empire must be destroyed and disarmed- it is a threat against humanity itself, against the self determination of any and all peoples, against multipolarity, and against the very notion of peace. I can only hope I see it in my lifetime, a day when AmeriKKKa is just a bad memory.
Imperialism is the highest stage of capitalism. They stick together because they are symptoms of the same illness. I too long for the day when the U.S empire is just a distant bad memory, tavarish.
It's because they're the main "Western" country in the pacific that they can use as their frontline in a confrontation with China. This plus being part of the anglo intelligence community and it's no surprise that they're so much more of a puppet than most other western countries.
Doesn’t that distinction go more to Japan? Australia is very disconnected from Asia, and Japan or the Philippines would make a much better staging area.
Sibling have you seen the submarine drama lmao, that's was sign number 1.
The US-CA-UK-AUS-NZ bourgeoisie is essentially unified. The Canadians and Aussies mine, the Brits finance, the Americans fix the markets, and they'll all move to Kiwi-Occupied Aotearoa when WW3 starts.
It's fucking awful. Most Australians don't know either and think we're a "free" country that chooses to torpedo trade agreements and fuck over our economy by buying stupidly expensive and barely functional American subs entirely by choice.
