The Republican party has been brought and sold to Putin and are traitors to the constitution and the republic. They want what Russia is: a controlled mafia state with religious underpinnings.
The thing is, they're not nearly tough or smart enough to survive in that environment. If they manage to succeed, they'll instantly find themselves bum-rushed and overwhelmed, helplessly calling out for forces of order who are supposed to restore to them their rights.
idk but i wish nato can get more directly involved. proxy wars are difficult. i just want to pop in and let you know I'm republican and all for giving whatever is needed to defeat the Russians. this is the most important thing on the planet right now.

@Marduk73@mozz It is not a proxy war. The war is between Russia and Ukraine. To call it a 'proxy war' is to insult 'Ukraine' and is only good for Russia.

from a western power indirectly fighting Russia through donations, training, and equipment, this is 110% a proxy war.
and the Ukrainians have proven they are made of tougher stuff than to be insulted by such a word.
