This is why as someone not from the US, the idea of a presidential pardon is extremely questionable.
What's the point of separation of powers, if you can just pardon anyone?
I absolutely see a future for the US where there is a political assassination, and the president just pardons the perpetrator. Of course, something like that doesn't happen in a vacuum, but democracy isn't built on loose rules. Y'all need to lock that shit down, like yesterday.

She'll be just fine, because after he dies, various publishers will offer her lots of money for a tell all insiders account. Plus she'll be offered TV deals, speaking engagements, etc. She won't be hurting for money after he dies.
