India port workers refuse to deal with Israel arms shipments
A trade union representing port workers in India have announced they will not handle any arms shipments to Israel because of its war on Gaza.
This is tremendous.
Once again, working people give the governments of the world a lesson in morality.
In case of India, people elect the government...
India is moving towards a right wing fascist political environment. Most of the population supports israel because israel helped India during kargil war and apparently israel is also a "strategic" partner. Unions like in the article have grounded beliefs so their position doesn't reflect the general populace of our country.
Reminds me of the Boston Tea Party. It was in solidarity with the Great Bengali Famine caused by the East India Company.
