A mental health crisis left me in a dire situation. I'm confident I can dig out of it, but I will need assistance.

I recently got into a very stressful situation in which my mental health got so bad that I made impulsive decisions like quitting my job on the spot and even discarding some valuable belongings because I was in a very "My life is over, and I have no reason to carry on." mentality. I worked through that mental health crisis, I was able to repurchase some of the stuff I threw away, and I'm even getting situated with applying for different jobs. I may be able to go back to work at the place I originally worked, but just in case that isn't the ideal solution, I'm considering multiple options, and I even applied for a job at a place owned and operated by someone I know personally.

Although I'm sure I will be able to get situated back into a job pretty easily, I need assistance for the time being. I have to cover rent that's due on the 1st of March and other expenses in the meantime. I'm concerned with the fact that, by the time I get situated into a new job, the first check for the new job won't hit soon enough for me to put that to my rent for March. I will be getting my last pay from my previous job as well which I cannot properly estimate how much it will amount to, but according to rough math, I believe it will leave me needing ~$400 until I reach the capacity to cover my rent. That paycheck, unfortunately, will only consist of one week (I get paid biweekly) and have less hours on it.

If you would like to support, I have set up a PayPal for an easy way of taking donations.

I appreciate everyone involved here. Thank you.

I will post updates and let you all remain aware of how this all plays out.

Update #1: So far, we've already made an effort to raise $235. That is very significant. I appreciate everyone who pitched in, and I cannot state that enough. Not only does this help my situation get better, but it makes my mood feel lifted knowing that people can care to support me (or one another period) through such rough times. All is appreciated!

Update #2: To supply an update of the amount and my overall situation, the amount increased to $256. Once again, you are all appreciated in your generosity. I spoke with my manager at my job about returning, and she said that she doesn't mind taking me back, but she has to make sure her higher-ups are okay with it. She also noted that she felt something was terribly off because she says it's very out of character for me to do something like quit without notice. She said she will reach out to them and advocate for me.

In the mean time, I'm going in to discuss matters with the place owned and operated by the man I know personally because he will be there in person tomorrow (Saturday, 2/17), and I also have an interview for more places that will take place on the week of Monday, 2/19 to Sunday, 2/25. I'm thinking that I may work two jobs if need be, but if my manager can take me back, then I most likely will stick to that as a primary/sole source of income.
