It prompts me to download the video file to disk on iOS
It probably depends on what client/app you're using for lemmy, I'm using connect on android and it plays just fine in the feed.
Also prompts me to download, on iOS with memmy.
Same on MacOS: It automatically downloads an mp4 file. Downvoted.
It plays just fine for me, also on MacOS. Don't downvote someone for something caused on your side (not necessarily by you, though).
Works perfectly with Voyager app on iOS
