First glance I thought it was a piece of raw steak. 🤢
53 0 ReplyIt isn't? ☹️
14 0 ReplyThat appears to be a strawberry 'now and later' candy.

I thought it was tuna (or other sashimi) with a little fat on it. Either way, that emoji does not convey my reaction at all.
6 0 ReplyI thought so until I read your comment 😂
5 0 ReplyI thought it was a dog bacon treat, and the answer is yes, wrapper and all.
...Woof

Absolutely. Used to happen all the time with Now & Laters.
51 1 ReplyI think that's what's pictured, right ? Because I instantly got the sour cherry with hints of paper flavor in my mouth when I looked at that,
20 0 ReplyDefinitely a Now n' Later. So many of these in my past.
13 1 ReplyYou're probably right. At first I thought it was Starburst but it does look more like a Now & Later.
10 0 ReplyAbsolutely. Now & Laters, bby.

A now & later yonked my loose tooth out when I was eight

The amount of effort to paper ratio is too high, and I need a snack dammit!
23 0 ReplyEh what's a little cellulose between snacks?
18 0 ReplyLast month i made myself a sandwich and accidentally left the little piece of wax paper that keeps the cheese separate in there.
I realized something was off on my second bite, opened the sandwich, and saw that i took a big ass bite off the wax paper and swallowed it.
14 0 ReplyHave you noticed any new superpowers since then?

Wait - you can peel them!?!
14 0 ReplyNope. In my darkest hours getting that last bit of paper off was a welcome distraction.
12 0 ReplyYes of course
10 0 ReplyWhat is that? (The red thing before everyone says paper.)
10 0 ReplyLooks like a Now and Later.
11 0 ReplyDefinitely a now and later. I had one a few days ago leftover from Halloween. It did this exactly. Yes, I did eat the paper because why not.

Possibly some kind of taffy sort of candy
6 0 ReplyIt's a "Now n' Later" ! I use to kill these. I miss not caring about what I ate.
11 1 ReplyHave you not heard of starburst's

Starburst
Don't know what the hell the other person is saying
11 6 ReplyStarburst is squarish.
4 0 ReplyI don't often eat these nowadays, but if you remind me that they used to be called Opal Fruits they taste better.
2 0 ReplyI don't feel like I've ever had the paper get stuck to a Starburst like that. Starbursts seem to be wrapped in a waxy-coated paper that doesn't stick to the candy really.
Now and Laters are wrapped in the cheapest shit paper and it gets stuck to the damn things. Then when you finally rip all the paper off and put it in your mouth it's like trying to eat a slightly flavored rock. I never understood why all the kids loved them when I was little. Honestly a shit tier candy.

Now and later
Well, there's another one for the stupid-candy-names-list. It can go right under "hundreds and thousands"
9 0 ReplyBut what's a single one of those called?
A one? A hundredth and thousandth??
I need to know!!
6 0 ReplyYou could just call them flingles and a single one would be called a flingle. Seems much easier to me

Eating the paper is half the fun of candy dots.
9 0 ReplyIs that not what they mean when they say something's a good source of fiber?
8 0 ReplyA little extra fiber for your diet
6 0 ReplyEvery time
6 0 ReplyWait, there's Candy in there?? What have I been eating this whole time??
5 0 ReplyDisgusting candy covered in sweet, delicious paper.

You guys don't eat those with half the wrapper attached because the stickiness level of that candy is so powerful it practically has a gravitational force strong enough to attract the sun? ... No, just me?
That's like half the flavor right there
5 0 ReplyMmm that's the best part
4 0 ReplyYes. It HURTS to chew paper. Don't do this.
5 1 ReplyYes. Just swallow. Don't chew.
7 0 ReplySandpaper maybe... But normal paper....
