The Milwaukee Bucks are in the market for a new head coach. Milwaukee has dismissed head coach Adrian Griffin after 43 games despite leading the team to a…
The defense has been horrible so I get it. Part of it is personnel since dame isn’t jrue but don’t think he’s coaching the defense well either. Seemed some players made comments they weren’t being prepared properly for matchups too.
Article mentions doc rivers is being considered which is crazy, I’d rather bud come back then doc lol
Bucks start slow every game, and most of the time are behind. Which is a lot like Raptors. And yes that's a sign that the team isn't well prepared. Bucks are also an old team so that might be part of their slow starts. Or both.
Wasn’t a huge fan of buds lack of adjustments but think having Dame covers the lack of offensive versatility we had previously with him so would be fine with him.
Think Nash deserves another chance somewhere but we really need a defensive minded coach more than anything, didn’t follow him too closely on the Nets so not sure if that’s something he can bring.
I mean they still have Giannis and Brook who are both DPOY level defenders so the defense shouldn’t be this bad. You need to scheme around the personnel deficiencies which clearly wasn’t happening with the strategy he was using.
I don’t expect the defense to be what it was jrue for sure but somewhere in 10-15 range should be possible, not bottom third of the league.
That's only 2 players. If 3 out of 5 players can't defend, you think they're gonna be effective? Lopez can't stand in the paint like in college. Part of the reason they suck on defense is there is no effort being made. Griff lost the locker room early and he's never recovered. I watched early season games Bucks had bad body language. I guess it can't get worse at this point.
