Weekend Update is just about the only part of SNL I've been watching for some time now.
- MadTV is still funnier than SNL, and they haven't had a new episode in like eight years 😂

weekly topical sketch comedy is just such a difficult format, and the moving goalposts of what is acceptable and funny etc mskes it so much harder. i'd love to see a few new attempts as its been too long. anyone aware of something to recommend?
