I got banned from that instance for complaining about literal nazis lol
EDIT: LOL at internet denizens turning down the lights and buckling into their weeb battle stations for two days (and probably more if I didn't block them) to write novellas in a war against an argument I'm not even participating in.

Thing is, these terrorists aren't trying to destroy the fediverse, they are trying to retaliate specifically against lemmy.world
Would be cool to know why.
It hasn't been confirmed by the admins, but strongly implied. Recently there have been some instances that lemmy.world defederated from. They are the suspects.
My bet is some drama on one community or another that happens to be on lemmy.world.
DDoS attacks were not a terribly uncommon occurrence on nodes on IRC networks.
