Unless something has changed, it plays fine through Steam with proton.

8 0 ReplyI played over two hundred hours of the steam version on Proton 8
4 0 ReplyI had no problems at all as recently as this year. I think I was playing over the summer
4 0 ReplyI managed to, through Lutris, with an old cracked version. Although I had to use winetricks to install a bunch of extensions.
3 0 ReplyIs there a website that lists extensions you might need to install in winetricks for any given game?
I feel it would help a lot to have a source like that at hand...

Played out of the box for me in steam(with proton enable) last night for me.
I did have problems with my mouse not going all the way to the right wide of the screen in Wayland though.
3 0 ReplySeems there is a difference in Steam/GoG version?

But the GoG version? It's rated Platinum in winehq...
1 0 ReplyI did, years ago, it worked perfectly. This was when DX9 was an option for it though, but given since then dxvk / etc. came out the DX11 renderer should not be an issue. In fact I'd be surprised if the game didn't run as-is without any tweaks.
I suggest using the gog version. appdb suggests installing vcrun2010 might be needed but again, test beforehand.
1 0 Replyvcrun2010 is as borked as is vcrun6sp6, both used by lutris installer script. It fails to install now.
Looks like the steam version runs fine while the GoG one doesn't.
