Halley's Comet is predicted to reach its farthest point from the sun on Dec. 9, beginning a 38-year journey toward Earth that culminates in 2061.

16 0 ReplyI was obsessed with space for a while when I was pretty young. I remember finding out that I saw Halley's comet when I was a baby, and became convinced that I'd live long enough to see it come back again, or even die once it returned. I guess I was a little bit morbid or looking for some sort of meaning to life.
So anyway, this is the beginning of my mid-life crisis.
