Ethernet keystone jack, two wires one punchdown?

I’ve got a PoE camera with 6 wires. In its original jack two of the pins were soldered together. Since I can’t solder the pins in a punch down keystone jack, can I bridge the empty slot to a used slot with another piece of wire? That means one slot will have two wires. Will that work?
