Who's your favorite host at LMG and why?

Emily always struck me as a next level expert.

Definitely Emily, her topics and insights are always super interesting.

But also Janklord Alex. I love his janky but somehow still surprisingly good projects
I think Emily is my favorite also. Unparalleled Linux knowledge. Havent seen them in a video for a while now.

Riley probably my second favorite though

Emily. expecting an episode on Selfhosting/fediverse soon from LTT

I wouldn't count on it, it's not that mainstream yet. But if they do it, Emily would be the perfect host
- They did a video on jellyfin something similar can be expected
- A roundup of everything fediverse is due. How does Mastadon interact with lemmy, threads, etc

Alex. I just love seeing the result of an engineer when no one tells them "no".

Emily, thanks to her I'm on linux now, the videos she hosts or even just makes an appearance in are so entertaining.

The best videos are when Alex builds something stupid. It's to the point where it annoys me when he's reviewing a laptop or car because his time could be so much better spent.

I really like all of them, but if I had to name one, I couldn't decide between Riley and Jake.

Riley has this chaotic energy and plays the insane one just a tiny bit too well. Jake on the other hand always seems super knowledgeable and the way he's yoloing things is just amazing sometimes.

Jake and Linus have an amazing chemistry. It's always super fun watching them shit talk each other's yoloing. But in truth they both constantly yolo stuff but also act as the voice of reason.

Riley and Emily for sure

Luke is great when he occasionally hosts

Dan! I kinda wish he gets put in an LTT video, but for now, Shortcircuit Dan is a great way to start my morning. Other than that, we need more Yvonne and Sarah!

I would say Riley because some of his cutaway and aside gags are absolutely outstanding - but I suspect the timing and the literal cutaways are down to the production team more than the host.

I honestly love Anthony. He just has such a plethora of knowledge and always brings a fun energy when he hosts.

Fyi, it's Emily now.

Jake and Dan are some of the most humorous and knowledgeable hosts from LTT. So probably them.

I love Jake and Linus when they are in the same video together... But if we are talking about individual hosts, I would either give it to Emily or Brandon.
