I think it's hilarious that NASA adopted the streaming industry's terminology for subscription services for its free streaming service. I thought at first that you'd have to pay for NASA+, but it is in fact free.
Should be free since it’s our taxes that fund NASA lol imagine funding an organization through taxes and then they try to sell a subscription service on top of that
they've always done pics and vids. marketing refresh. must be a new director
It's kinda nice when it's late at night and you're too tired to pay attention to a plot or characters and they just roll footage from the outside of the ISS. [Especially nice if you're a bit stoned.]
I've also watched a couple talks that were fascinating to me; there was one in particular with Steve Squyres talking about the latest updates from the Spirit and Opportunity missions that I remember as particularly interesting.
makes good background TV. usually have PBS tuned in OTA on create TV cooking shows
watched it all night when they'd take over PBS channel. they've got some good videos but the drama music wears on me. mute
They also have a pretty neat radio station that gives mission updates and such between songs:
think they might set some auto-play vids by default. found myself clicking around to astronomy pics
