Old smartphones should be usable as single-board computers, just as this one is

I've thought about something like this before and it always made me so mad. Old phones are still pretty powerful computers that can run Linux/Android. They have a a screen and a battery.

If they weren't locked down, they'd make great toy computers like rpi. Instead they just get thrown in a landfill.
