10u revxlp prototype build
Been iterating a bit on my revxlp design, and a frequent request is for a 10u/"5 col" version.
Finally did a build of the first protos, and it's working great! I want to do a few tweaks for the newly added ability to use the single color LEDs for either per -key or bottom backlighting, once that's done I'll formally release the changes.
This particular build was half soldered by our elder daughter, and she fully assembled post-soldering including keycap selection. I love the look she chose, which she said "reminded her of a sunset over the water"

- XIAO RP2040 running ZMK
- Keycaps:
- MBK: dyes from MKU and factory dyes from LowProKB
- Asymplex convex 1u artisans for the bottom row
- Choc whites
- MJF nylon case print from JLC
This is it - thx so much, let me know when you think it's ready and I am ready to build.
Looks great, and probably a better job soldering than I'd be able to do.
Just checking - files/parts/build guide is not yet available, or did I miss it somewhere?
It's in a branch of the repo until I can address one or two minor issues, and some docs additions needed.
It looks like it belongs on the TOS Enterprise set
I still would love to build it but jlcpcb shows these mounting holes as not available... any better idea than just trying again every week?
What kind of keymap do you use on here? I’m interested in learning a layout with less keys so I can have a travel board and lazy fingers 🙃

I'll post my personal keymap a bit later. It's mostly Callum style mod approach.

Indeed! It was somewhat inevitable it was going to, but I still wanted to do it for the XIAO-ness of it.
