Growing up there was an older couple on my street who would dress as Mr and Mrs. Clause for Halloween. Santa would open the door and offer you a big spoonful of mashed potatoes! After sufficient protest Mrs. Clause would bring out the candy.
That sounds so wholesome. I'll try to remember that idea for when I'm older.
The Predicate family across the street had full-sized candy bars

Idk if "warm" is the right word for eggs sitting outside in late October. But idk if "freezing cold" makes me any happier...
It's not that they're for the kids, it's that each handful costs one child. Eggs are expensive.
But it's actually a trick because it's really insulation they're trying to get you to put your hands in.
