For all the people who complained about the content not spanning the whole page, there's now an option just for you.
I still don't see why you'd want this as it looks horrible, but whatever.

How I can revert to previous UI content not spanning the whole page
Should the option go under UI instead of General?
Also, it might look better with the "(Not Recommended)" at the end of the description rather than the start.
