Art Deco FTW!

I've always thought that a fusion of art deco and 90's anime cyberpunk would look cool, but I have none of the skills to do it justice.
Edit: Someone mentioned Deus Ex Human Revolution, which is pretty close to what I'm describing.

  Takes a bit to get accustomed to the textures, but a fun adaptation.

I stumbled upon a recent game called Technotopia in Art Deco style. It's not my type of game, but i liked the optics very much!

- If it's between Art Deco and Cubicle Glass And Steel, gimme that damned gold pinstripe filigree! A bit too sharp a detail material for my tastes, but at least it has some soul behind it! (and goes well with black, totally impartial on this one, honest:")
  Oh! OH! If Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the aesthetic of our near future, I would NOT be disappointed, either! Renaissance mainly, sure, but those thin lines, smoky contrasts and overall vibe, that's pure Art Deco influence to me. Neo-Noir by way of XVIth Century Venice!:)))

We are bringing other things back, too. How can things develop differently?

I guess the biggest difference this time is that the internet exists, and last time they didn't have a climate crisis that requires the abolishment of capitalism to survive. So, bad news is we're doing a repeat, but good news is the motivation and reasons to defeat fascism have never been higher!
Let's hope we're able to learn from lessons of the past as we find new ways to save ourselves, and the people finally come out on top. We've a got a lot riding on it.
- I agree, if we don't believe things can get better why continue living? Why even have a political position at all? What's it all for if we don't have faith the world can do better?
  Also, in my opinion Anarcho-syndicalism as based as it is, isn't what we really need right now.
