I'm a woman who is very attracted to chavs (British rednecks, for American readers)

There was this tall thin guy in a grey tracksuit, baseball cap and neckchain at my school who'd step in and protect me from other girls trying to start shit with me. he was intimidating at first but also really friendly to me. All my experiences with chavs have been positive, and idk there's just something about the look which is really attractive to me. i think they get a bad rap and are unfairly demonised tbh, i really don't think they're anymore "dangerous" than any other subculture it's just that when a "goth" (for example) kills someone it's one small article which gets forgotten, if a "chav" kills someone you can bet there's gonna be at least 10 DailyMail articles on it

was in a Chinese takeaway Thursday evening waiting for my order to be cooked and there was a really cute chav sitting there a little older than me. he talked to me about random stuff and was flirty in a sweet way. he tried to ask me out but he wasn't from my area he was just visiting. so when i told him I'm from here he was really disappointed. when his food was done as he was walking out the shop he complimented my looks and told me he hopes I get a really good guy and it made my day and kinda still has me giddy lol. at the same time it's kinda hurtful to see so many people would just hate them from the getgo/assume they're dangerous without even getting to know them 😞
