There ain't nothing wrong with the Sherman pick your flag. You're either with the Union of the United States or you're with the traitors of the Confederate who explicitly wanted slavery.
If you wave the Confederate flag around you're nothing more than celebrating traitors that had a shorter run the most Netflix shows do

Now that's a man who knew how to deal with traitors to America. Scorched fucking earth.
I remember one of his orders during his March to the Sea being something along the lines of "If any Southern plantation owner wishes to burn his cotton, his home, and himself rather than submit to the Union, let him. But not his grain - that belongs to the Army."
