I open tiktok and it's people constantly spewing their Islamophobic takes under the guise of "feminism".

I open twitter and people are discussing how someone can't be a part of the LGBTQ+ or believe in the concept of communism while being Muslim, and it's just so draining?

I'm tired of being lumped with extremists or seeing tragedy that's happening to people in Muslim countries by evil men be used as a gotcha or example that Islam is an evil, misogynistic and patriarchal religion.

I'm tired of non-muslims and even muslims who don't know me personally try and tell me about my religion as if I haven't been asking questions my whole life and telling me that I'm going to hell or that my beliefs are wrong.

That I'm less of a feminist because I'm Muslim or that I'm someone who's gonna be thrown in hell because I believe in rights and kindness for queer people.
