Alternatives to Google Pixel Camera.

I use basic Google Pixel Camera app that forces me to have Google Photos installed so I can view my photos. My workaround is just going to the gallery directly. I don't use GrapheneOS's camera as I've seen worse quality when comparing two. I heard of modded Google Camera's for specific devices. Any suggestions?

@Psyhackological There's a "photosonly flavor" of the Gcam Services Provider that makes gcam work with other gallery apps.
I got it working with Aves gallery without any issues.

I can highly recommend Open Camera. You can install it from F-Droid.
- I used it on many occasions and it preformed worse quality photos. I want the best. :/
  
  That's weird. The image quality is really good for me. Did you check the photo settings and set the camera resolution on max?

I'm currently using AGC with config for Pixel 7. Works pretty great but your milage may vary.

  You choose some version to try and apply a config for your phone from the app settings menu. I think it also depends on what ROM you're running which app is the best
disable network comms for Gcam and install the magisk module that fakes the necessary services are installed (play store, photos) and you're good. the opensource variants are lacking, to say the least.
- But for Magisk you're assuming that I have rooted my smartphone correct? I haven't...
