Bridgy is so easy to use you may find yourself accidentally going down the wrong path instead of just following the bot, but it's really that simple.

Just a heads up, in case anyone runs into the same problem I did.
If your server doesn't block or limit
bsky.brid.gy,AND if your account is set to automatically accept new followers, BUT when you try to follow@bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gythe button changes to say "Cancel Follow" instead of "Unfollow" THEN go ahead and click Cancel Follow and wait a few minutes before clicking "Follow" again.It took me a couple of attempts, but it eventually worked.
