Not specifically a bloodline, but my family surname dies with me. I have a half-sister and half-brother from another father so some of "the bloodline" passes on I guess.
On surnames, I had three that were possible. My grandfather was born out of wedlock (so there's two possibilities) and was adopted (that's the third). He reverted to his mother's maiden name post-adoption. No clue if she married and adopted a new last name, but it'd be fun if that was the fourth.
