Drinking too much water can be bad for you, especially if you're doing it while exercising, as your body will retain water during that time. Trust your kidneys, your body will tell you when its thirsty, you just need to know the early warning signs. Thirst (obviously), dry eyes, headaches, trouble focusing, and a quick skin turgor test will let you know to drink water when its appropriate.
