Autism pet peeve: when people use "a little bit" for every comment they make when they really mean "a lot"

I get that it's normal to do this because it's more polite, especially for when it's a constructive criticism, but it means that when you say "a little bit" it's unclear that you actually mean it.

Not even about criticism specifically but yeah this shit drives me crazy. I’m trying to discern what you think just fucking tell me. If I disagree with me we can go from there.

This whole idea of allistics asking the opinions of others purely for show is so annoying to me. If I ask your opinion, I want your honesty. If I don’t want your opinion I straight up won’t ask. Plus the reverse, why on earth would you ask me what I think if you didn’t want my thoughts?

This becomes all the more frustrating when I truly have no thoughts or no strong opinion either way on something it always gets interpreted as me not wanting to share my thoughts. So now I have to explain why I don’t care because they can’t believe that I could just refuse sharing my opinion if I didn’t want to. /rant
