Min Maxing vs Whatever the fuck this is

Will a hit on J0 sink the entire fleet or just damage that one segment of the bottom ship?
- "Sir, we fired a single warning shot on the edge of their formation and their whole fleet just sank!"
  
  Hitting an adjacent location: "Miss, but my F18 just fell off".
- It would cause the ships to fall under the map, breaking the game for everyone.

What are these one hole boats? Budget cuts?
- Those are life boats for the women and children
- I had a portable talking version of battleship (Battleship Command) as a kid and it has these little planes. If I remember correctly, I think they allowed you to "see" a little bit of the opponents board and you placed them on top of your own ships?
  Also the sound effects in that version were great, almost all done by human voice. The ship sinking sound was hilarious "glub glub glub"

- I think it's a plane? Never played a version with them, would take forever!
  
  Yeah, one-hole boats seem like it'd take away what little "strategy" there is in this game. It's pure randomness whether you hit one, and as soon as you hit it it's over.

Does anyone remember the star wars episode one battleship game? Was sweet as hell, electronic and sound effects
