Cassian Andor’s reference to the luck the keeps him alive is a clever, deep-rooted Star Wars callback
Cassian seems to also have a disbelief that he is still alive himself. His character is very "jumpy" with a "how did I survive that? " sort of feeling.
I am only on the first episode of the second season, but the amount of luck he's had so far has kept me at the edge of my seat.

I couldn't remember his name at first and had to look it up, but it's Tofen Vane from the Dark Horse Clone Wars comic series.
