Central American Pygmy owls in Costa Rica, photographed on my latest trip. It can get very hot in the nest hole during the day, so these two parents took a well earned break on a near by branch. No flash, mid day shot, ISO 6400, f9, 1/640 Canon R5 Markll Canon 100-500.
